Business empowerment, leadership and career advancement for emerging and established leaders in the Mining and Resources industry

The 2nd Annual Women in Mining & Resources Leadership Summit, hosted in partnership with the Minerals Council of Australia, returns to Perth from 30 November to 2 December 2020.
The Minerals Council of Australia and the Women Leaders Institute are pleased to welcome Mates in Mining as this year’s official event charity partner. 10% of event proceeds will be donated to help reduce suicide rates and improve mental health and wellbeing in the industry.
The 2020 Summit will bring together the most influential and brightest minds to explore successful gender parity initiatives to increase female leadership and participation in the mining and resources sector. We will explore the most effective leadership tools, tips and techniques you need to inspire, support and motivate your teams through these uncertain times.
The level of women in management in the mining and resources industry has increased from 14% to 17.2%, and whilst this is an encouraging sign of progress, more can be done to improve diversity in leadership. Join us as we reaffirm our commitment to diversity in leadership even during the most challenging of times.
